Model Academy Director

Hi. My name is Stephanie-Graham Powell. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY but I currently reside in Newark, DE. I recently began pursuing my dreams and became a freelance model and model mentor for aspiring mini models and adults. My inspiration to become a model started when I was in high school. I joined a modeling program afterschool and that fueled my passion for fashion and heels. Throughout the years I realized how happy the preparation for a photoshoot or a fashion show makes me. I love the anticipation of getting ready for hair and makeup. When I’m given clothes that I’ve never seen before and possibly aren’t my style I get nervous but once I’m in my final look I feel amazing. I’m always surprised when I can accentuate a look and it gives me that “it’s my birthday” feeling. Modeling helped build my confidence, posture, and work ethic. Becoming a model matured me, made me versatile, and exposed me to people and situations to better myself and my future. I can make a difference by being that perfect person to help bring someone’s vision to life. I want to be able to use my experiences, power, and knowledge to help open the doors for others. I would like to motivate others who have had a rough childhood, past or current situation and be living proof that no matter what they’ve been through their dreams can still come true if they believe in themselves, put in the work and apply the pressure.
